PRIVATE!

Hello family and friends. Sorry I have been so slow updating my blog. I have been having a problem with weirdo's looking at my blog. Kinda scary to think that just anybody can take a small glance at my personal life. Therefore I have decided to make my BLOG private. I am pretty sure I have E- mail addresses for most of my family and friends, so i will be sending you an invite to view my blog. If you think I do not have your E-Mail, and you would like to be invited to view my blog, make sure you leave it in my comment area. Next week my blog will be private. I would love to use my blog as a semi- journal, so my close friends and family can view in on my life and be updated on my wonderful family...

UPDATES...

Update: Avery now is 3 months... I can't believe it!

~She smiles a ton. Cooing. She is starting to laugh, she tries so hard to laugh, soo cute.
~Avery has a TEMPER, watch OUT! I guess it's the Italian in her.
~She still sleeps great, eats great, poops great.
She is a FUN baby.

Update: Austin is 4. My little sweet heart.

~He is in a Sport Sampler class, where they will learn to play Soccer, T-ball, and Basketball. Right now they are playing soccer. It is really fun to watch, he is very determined.  I am happy that he is so athletic.
~He also is taking swimming lessons. He is ahead of the class, but better to be ahead than behind.
~He will also start Karate class when the other classes end.
~He loves to touch Avery. Every chance he gets to play with her hands, and make faces at her, he's on it! It's a good and bad thing, sometimes he gets a little out of control.
~Austin is very much into playing on the computer the Disney games and also the Lego games. I am in shock on how well he navigates around on the computer. We even have a Mac which makes it all a little harder. We have a computer genius on our hands!
~Him and Anson have a bedtime routine where they tell each other made up stories. I guess my stories are not as good because he always asks for Daddy to tell them. Bummer.
~He loves his Bike. We love family bike rides. We are taking his training wheels off soon.
We enjoy our little BUDDY!

What a GREAT Birthday I had...

I am excited for the year of 25.  I  look forward to making many memories with my sweet family. I feel that I have grown a ton this last year, and plan to keep growing each year to come. One of my goals this year is to take my weaknesses and make them my strengths.

Thank you all for the sweet comments, I loved reading them and remembering the memories we shared:)  and thank you for the phone text's and messages and E-cards!

Thank you sweet husband who adores me:)

ANSON:  For the record I fell in love with your reserved charm, plus my heart melted when you looked at me for the first time.
And my dear Anson, it was the third "hang out" that I cuddled with you.
Yes you had awesome magic tricks!
Thank you my Love for a wonderful Birthday. I had a wonderful day.

Trish: You are the Best, thank you for a fun relaxing day:)

I love you all. Thank you!

Just for FUN pictures of ME and MY LOVE!

Happy 25th Birthday!

Today Amy turns 25!  Many of you don't know our story, so here is a little summary.

I first remember when I saw her 2 summer's ago.  I was working in Reno for the summer as a salesman.  I was doing really good and my sales were higher than expected... that is until I saw my future bride at church.

She looked to be about 18 so I didn't want to go right up and start a conversation.  I needed to move in for a closer look to asses the situation with this skinny, pig tailed, brown eyed girl.

I approached her and worked her over with my smooth line, "Excuse me, do you know where the drinking fountain is?"  I was too shy after church to talk to her so I did the only respectable thing, sent a friend to talk to her.  He broke the ice and we invited ourselves over for board games and movies.  That night, I wooed her with my magic tricks which showed versatility and skillful hands.  When the movie came on (Finding Nemo) no one seemed to be sitting on the couch, except Amy.  So I sat by her and eventually she melted in my arms.  I said smooth lines like, "Your hair smells like Peppermint, I like that."

I knew fairly early on that she was 'the one'; it was love at first sight and I haven't looked back since.  We had a short courtship and long engagement.

In our first year together we have made a lot of changes!  We moved 4 times, graduated college, started a business, new job, a baby, lots of sickness, but things always turn out okay.  She has proven to be resilient at anything life throws at us.  I have noticed huge growth in such a short time and I admire and love Amy for being such a great mother!

Happy 25 honey!  I hope we can continue to grow and each birthday will be better with each new year.

Please leave any comments for Amy on this special occasion-

A little Behind...

I know, I have been lazy about blogging, but not lazy in life! Two kids, wow, I am on the GO...
We have been very busy the past few weeks.
I went to Reno with Austin and Avery.  Austin had a visit with his Bio Father.
It was a good trip, and my family loved spending time with Austin and Avery. (Of course they loved having me around as well)
The Sad thing was Avery, and I spent Easter away from Daddy and our Austin. :(
The airplane trip with two kids was stressful for me, but both kids were GREAT.
I have tons of pictures from my mom's camera that I will blog soon.
We go back to Reno in less than two weeks!!

When we returned home from Reno, we left again for a trip with my In-Laws. They rented a Ocean Beach house in Seabrook, WA  for the weekend. It was a BLAST. Austin loved every minute, he never stopped moving. It was nice to get away, relax a bit, and enjoy the beautiful Oceans shores. Hopefully we will return to Seabrook!

We then spent this last weekend at the In-Laws house so we could watch conference. Conference was so wonderful. I learned from all the talks, and I am excited to apply what I have learned into my life.

Me and my Buddy at the PARK!

Easter Sunday... Avery smiles a TON!

Just me and the Little Guy!

Austin and I went to the mall today so i could get my hair cut, and he could play on the "play boat" it was a special trip just me and him, no Baby Avery, and no Hubby.

While I was getting my hair cut
Austin: Mom you are beautiful.
Me: Thanks buddy.
Austin: This girl is going to make your hair look so pretty.
Austin: Mom I really have to go poo poo!

Playing on the Boat
Austin: Hey, will you be my friend?
Boy: Yes
Austin: Ok then what's your name?
Austin: You chase me, but I am a nice monster so don't be scared of me.

On the way home in the car
Austin: Mom I love you so much, you are my favorite in the whole world.
Me: Thank you Austin you are such a sweet heart, I love you so much.
Austin: Mom can I have ice cream when we get home.

I love my one on one time with Austin. He is such a sweet boy.

My Dearest Mother!

My mom is so wonderful! She would do anything for me and my family. She has come to help out twice with, Austin and the baby. Oh and what a difference it is having a helper around. I love my mom and miss her so much... but on the other hand... can I have some privacy please!

The other day I got into the bathroom to take a shower... I put Avery in her travel swing in the bathroom with me... then my mom comes in and asks if she can do her hair while I was taking a shower... oh whatever, Yes... then about two minutes into my nice warm shower Austin comes running in... "I have to POO, right now!"... Ok... so here I am in the shower, should be a time where I can relax and enjoy some quiet, private time... oh no, nice TRY! I just had to laugh with my mom on this one.  WE NEED MORE ROOM, MORE BATHROOMS!

This brings me to my next point. Ok since when does a starter home cost 500.000 thousand?? Humm, well here in Issaquah WA! When we moved to Seattle my hubby let me choose where we would get an apartment. I spent a lot of time searching all the little towns right outside of Seattle. I fell in LOVE with Issaquah, it is so beautiful and convenient here. I love the homes, the parks, the people, the schools, the ward, the shopping, but most of all it feels like HOME.  I really don't want to move away to a cheaper town. We are determined to make it work, and are looking for a house. Probably a townhome or duplex to start... still expensive, but doable.
Our apartment is just too small. Coming from Utah it seemed big, then we had Avery... not so big now. I think our apartment is very nice... but a 1000 square foot with one bathroom and two bedroom apartment is not going to cut it... We are officially house hunters!
Sorry not very interesting, it's more for me to look back on and read... I have decided to write down whats going on in my life a little more... Blah Blah Blah...

This house is about $500,000... and only 1700 square feet.  It's so cute!!
We are going to look at this one today... About $400,000 Townhome... the one on the end.
