My Dearest Mother!

My mom is so wonderful! She would do anything for me and my family. She has come to help out twice with, Austin and the baby. Oh and what a difference it is having a helper around. I love my mom and miss her so much... but on the other hand... can I have some privacy please!

The other day I got into the bathroom to take a shower... I put Avery in her travel swing in the bathroom with me... then my mom comes in and asks if she can do her hair while I was taking a shower... oh whatever, Yes... then about two minutes into my nice warm shower Austin comes running in... "I have to POO, right now!"... Ok... so here I am in the shower, should be a time where I can relax and enjoy some quiet, private time... oh no, nice TRY! I just had to laugh with my mom on this one.  WE NEED MORE ROOM, MORE BATHROOMS!

This brings me to my next point. Ok since when does a starter home cost 500.000 thousand?? Humm, well here in Issaquah WA! When we moved to Seattle my hubby let me choose where we would get an apartment. I spent a lot of time searching all the little towns right outside of Seattle. I fell in LOVE with Issaquah, it is so beautiful and convenient here. I love the homes, the parks, the people, the schools, the ward, the shopping, but most of all it feels like HOME.  I really don't want to move away to a cheaper town. We are determined to make it work, and are looking for a house. Probably a townhome or duplex to start... still expensive, but doable.
Our apartment is just too small. Coming from Utah it seemed big, then we had Avery... not so big now. I think our apartment is very nice... but a 1000 square foot with one bathroom and two bedroom apartment is not going to cut it... We are officially house hunters!
Sorry not very interesting, it's more for me to look back on and read... I have decided to write down whats going on in my life a little more... Blah Blah Blah...

This house is about $500,000... and only 1700 square feet.  It's so cute!!
We are going to look at this one today... About $400,000 Townhome... the one on the end.

Avery Ann update...

Avery Ann 1 month old!

Avery is doing GREAT! She still sleeps really well at night (knock on wood)!  She is 90% in height, 50% in weight...  She doesn't really cry... she SCREAMS!!  Not that often, but if I put off feeding her when she is hungry instead of crying she just screams at me... good thing she is on a great schedule!
Austin tells me, "Mom, when she cries she is just talking to you, that's how babies talk."
She is a really good baby... I have Great kids:)

My sister came to town!

Snoqualmie Falls... Nope it's not me, its my sister Ann!
My sister came up from Reno for a few days... She is so GOOD with babies! She's great to have around. She is a nurse and I am pretty sure she gets sick of me calling her all the time... Oh well, deal with it, I'm not stopping!
They have the BEST parks up at the Issaquah  Highlands.

MY LITTLE BABY IS FOUR!!

Austin just turned 4 on Feb. 15th... they grow up way too fast!

What a joy Austin has been in my life. He has such a sweet spirit. He has so much love to give to everyone that surrounds him. He is always happy and energetic. With his exciting imagination, I am exhausted by the end of the day, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have watched Austin grow into this amazing boy; while he grew I grew right along with him. We have been through a lot together, and he has taught me so many great things. He is a very special boy who is absolutely adored by many, especially by me (his mom). He helps keep my spirits high when feeling low. This little guy captured my heart the second he was born; I love him more and more each day. I love being his mom!

Some FUN new things to look forward to this year... Swim lessons, Karate class, Soccer camp, hopefully T-Ball, preschool.  Austin being extremely Athletic we want him to be able to do a lot of different things and see what he likes the BEST. These are a few things we have found that are available with his age group. We are going to have a fun year!!

SICK! SICK! SICK!

First Austin got sick... Then my mom got sick... Then my hubby got sick... Then Avery got sick... Now I am sick...
RSV is nasty!!
Austin is feeling Great now, which I am so happy about.  He has been a big help around here while me and Avery are sick and Anson is at work...

Avery is a good baby and sleeps really well at night... I never thought that I would have to set my alarm at night to wake a sleeping baby to eat... it may not last long, but it's nice right now while we are sick!

Austin just loves her... He would hold her all day if I let him! No jealousy issues so far, he is almost 4 so he understands that the baby has needs. Plus Austin gets a ton of attention around here!  He can't wait for Avery to be big enough to play!

Anson is going to take "New Born" pictures this Sat... Then I will send out announcements!

Two weeks old

While My Photographer (Anson) is at work all day, I took a few shots of Avery, this is my favorite:)

Austin likes his hair long... he won't even let me trim it around his ears!

Bath Time!
