Avery Ann update...

Avery Ann 1 month old!

Avery is doing GREAT! She still sleeps really well at night (knock on wood)!  She is 90% in height, 50% in weight...  She doesn't really cry... she SCREAMS!!  Not that often, but if I put off feeding her when she is hungry instead of crying she just screams at me... good thing she is on a great schedule!
Austin tells me, "Mom, when she cries she is just talking to you, that's how babies talk."
She is a really good baby... I have Great kids:)

My sister came to town!

Snoqualmie Falls... Nope it's not me, its my sister Ann!
My sister came up from Reno for a few days... She is so GOOD with babies! She's great to have around. She is a nurse and I am pretty sure she gets sick of me calling her all the time... Oh well, deal with it, I'm not stopping!
They have the BEST parks up at the Issaquah  Highlands.

MY LITTLE BABY IS FOUR!!

Austin just turned 4 on Feb. 15th... they grow up way too fast!

What a joy Austin has been in my life. He has such a sweet spirit. He has so much love to give to everyone that surrounds him. He is always happy and energetic. With his exciting imagination, I am exhausted by the end of the day, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have watched Austin grow into this amazing boy; while he grew I grew right along with him. We have been through a lot together, and he has taught me so many great things. He is a very special boy who is absolutely adored by many, especially by me (his mom). He helps keep my spirits high when feeling low. This little guy captured my heart the second he was born; I love him more and more each day. I love being his mom!

Some FUN new things to look forward to this year... Swim lessons, Karate class, Soccer camp, hopefully T-Ball, preschool.  Austin being extremely Athletic we want him to be able to do a lot of different things and see what he likes the BEST. These are a few things we have found that are available with his age group. We are going to have a fun year!!

SICK! SICK! SICK!

First Austin got sick... Then my mom got sick... Then my hubby got sick... Then Avery got sick... Now I am sick...
RSV is nasty!!
Austin is feeling Great now, which I am so happy about.  He has been a big help around here while me and Avery are sick and Anson is at work...

Avery is a good baby and sleeps really well at night... I never thought that I would have to set my alarm at night to wake a sleeping baby to eat... it may not last long, but it's nice right now while we are sick!

Austin just loves her... He would hold her all day if I let him! No jealousy issues so far, he is almost 4 so he understands that the baby has needs. Plus Austin gets a ton of attention around here!  He can't wait for Avery to be big enough to play!

Anson is going to take "New Born" pictures this Sat... Then I will send out announcements!

Two weeks old

While My Photographer (Anson) is at work all day, I took a few shots of Avery, this is my favorite:)

Austin likes his hair long... he won't even let me trim it around his ears!

Bath Time!

My Dear Little Boy is Sick

Austin was in the hospital with pneumonia:(
He was really sick. Very high temp, rapid breathing, coughing, vomiting. Very Scary!
Oxogen level at 90. which is low.
He is doing much better now. He was released from the hospital a couple days ago.
We have had an adventure this past week.
I am so thankful that Austin is better, it was such a struggle to see him so sick.
Thank Goodness my mom was here to help.

Something cute Austin said, I was holding Austin in bed while he was sick, then we heard Avery start to cry "Mom, my baby sister needs your milk, GO!" My little Austin is so sweet!

The Birth Story Of Avery Ann

1/17/2008
I had my OB appointment with Dr. Graham at 11:00 am.
She checked and I was dilated to a 3+, which didn't mean much considering that i had been dilated for 3 weeks.
I came home around noon, started having contractions, and we left for the hospital around 1:00pm.

We were checked in by 1:30

Need to make sure my mom was on her way from Reno
bye, bye to big belly
Walking the halls...

Birthing Ball

Back labor is NO fun!
Anesthesiologist hooked me up to a low-epidural, which was perfect, took the edge off, but still could feel every contraction. Right after that...
Dr. Graham arrived and broke my water at 6-7 centimeters
20 minutes after my water was broke I was dilated to a 10

Nurse went to tell the Dr. that I was ready to push.
Get ready, get set...
After 15 min. of pushing Avery arrived. 6:32 pm
That's a big girl...

My mom didn't make it on time. She was at Seattle airport getting picked up when Avery arrived:( Almost Mom!

Austin just fell in LOVE...

Austin adores his sister! He is so sweet, and loving towards her.
